An Idea Lab was established in 2022, under the aegis of IIC. Under its auspices, Three Web Applications were developed by the BCA Students of KMEACAS
REAP is a customizable web application designed to help teachers provide targeted training for "slow learners" based on their domain-specific competency levels. Initially tested with BCA batches, the platform proved successful and was extended to the English department a year later. REAP is now being further expanded to other academic domains, enhancing personalized learning support across diverse fields of study at KMEA College.
D-SLAT, a Self-Learning Open-Source Web Application, was developed by the students of the BCA department at KMEA College of Arts and Science to support visually-challenged individuals in their learning process. The platform offers an accessible, user-friendly interface, tailored for students with visual impairments. One visually-challenged student at KMEA College benefited from D-SLAT, utilizing the platform to enhance their learning experience and access educational content In a more convenient and independent manner. This initiative highlights the college's commitment to inclusivity and innovation in education.
